Aroma: Great scents of a typical Valencian drink, ‘horchata’, with notes of cinnamon, lemon, hazelnuts, tigernuts, toasted dried fruits, moisture/humidity and earth sensations.
Nose conclusion: Citric, sweet, hazelnut, cinnamon. Fresh, fruity, toasted.
Taste: Intense sweet aroma of ‘horchata’ that persists 7 to 8 seconds in the mouth. At first, the sense is that of tasting a dessert, but this sensation is changed once no added sugar is detected. The olive oil texture is mixed with that of the dried fruits essential oil and the citric from the lemon.
Taste conclusion: Intense hazelnut and lemon aromas with a persistence of cinnamon.
Ideal with: ‘Ajo blanco de horchata’ with Guirardeau oysters. ‘Dulce de leche’ with horchata.
